(Pakistan Super League 6 2021) – HBL PSL 6 started today on 20th Feb 2021 and the first match played between defending champions Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators.
Karachi Kings won the toss and captain Imad Wasim decided to field first. Quetta Gladiators started well but soon after Gayle, the team couldn’t continue the tempo and could only score 121. They got all out in just 18.2 overs with Chris Gayle being the highest run-scorer with 39 on 24 balls.
Karachi Kings convincingly won the match on the second last ball of 14th overs with the loss of 3 wickets. Wicket-keeper batsman Joe Clarke made 46 runs on 23 balls.
Arshad Khan from Karachi declared as the player of the match who took 3 wickets and bowled 1 maiden over. He consumed only 16 runs in his 4 overs.
