(Pakistan Super League 6 2021) — The 2nd match of PSL 6 started at 2:00 PM in National Stadium Karachi between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi. Lahore Qalandars has won the match with 4 wickets in hands.

Lahore Qalandars has won the toss and elected to field first. Peshawar Zalmi lost their first wicket on the first ball of the match when Shaheen Shah Afridi strikes. Peshawar Zalmi could only manage to put a total of 140 runs on the board in the allotted 20 overs.

Ravi Bopara was the highest run-scorer from Zalmi and he made his first 50 of HBL PSL 6. Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3 wickets in 4 overs and only consumed 14 runs and he also bowled 1 maiden over.

Lahore Qalandars started the chase and they were good but their batting line fumble in between the innings. Thanks to Mohammad Hafeez who stayed on the crease till the end and Rashid Khan also make a good partnership with him.

Mohammad Hafeez was the top scorer from Lahore Qalandars as he was not out on 33 and Rashid was not out on 27. Both played important role in chasing down an easy total of 140 runs.

At the end of the day, Lahore Qalandars manages to win their first match of HBL PSL 6 by 4 wickets and 9 balls remaining.

For a brilliant bowling performance, Shaheen Shah Afridi was named as the player of the match.
