Mohammad Hafeez is one of the most senior players in the Pakistan cricket team who just retired a few days ago from International cricket. The right-handed batsman was born in Sargodha on 17 October 1980.
He played his first ODI for Pakistan on 3 April 2003 against Zimbabwe. On 20 August 2003, he played his debut test for Pakistan against Bangladesh. He represented Pakistan in 55 test matches, 218 ODIs, and 119 T20 internationals.
He first captained the Pakistan T20 team in May 2012. Under his captaincy, Pakistan played 29 matches. Out of 29 T20, Pakistan has won 17 matches with a winning ratio of 60.34.
Mohammad Hafeez led the Pakistan T20 team to the semi-finals in the ICC T20 world cup 2012. After losing the semi-final from Sri Lanka, Hafeez decided to resign as a Captain of the Pakistan T20 team.

Mohammad Hafeez PSL career is exceptional as he is the master of this format. Until now, he played for two teams. In the PSL tournament, he has so many performances under his belt that he took his team to victory with his all-around cricketing talent.

Mohammad Hafeez started the PSL with Peshawar Zalmi in 2016. He played for Peshawar for three years. After PSL 2018, Hafeez left the Zalmi and joined Lahore Qalandars in the fourth edition of the PSL.
He also captained the Lahore qalandars for only two matches, and due to unknown reasons, he stepped down from the captaincy.

Professor Hafeez is a great all-rounder, but during his career, he faced a ban on his bowling action many times. He changed his action as well that affected his bowling.
