Mohammad Haris PSL Career

Mohammad Haris is a Pakistani cricketer who represents his country on the international stage and also competes for Pakistan’s domestic teams.

In June of 2022, he made his first appearance on the international stage for the national team of Pakistan.

Haris grew up in the village of Mushtarzai, which is located near Peshawar. He studied cricket at the Maazullah Khan Cricket Academy in Peshawar before being picked for the Under-19 team of Peshawar and then, the following year, for the national team of the Under-19.

At the end of 2019, he was given a spot on Pakistan’s roster to compete in the Cricket World Cup for Under-19s in 2020.

He was included in Pakistan’s one-day international (ODI) squad in  2021 September for the series versus New Zealand.

As a result of his strong play in the PSL during the month of February 2022, Pakistan decided to include him on their backup list for the next test match versus Australia.

His major responsibility is to drive in a lot of runs and hit for a high average when he’s batting one down most of the time.

After the mini draught for the 2021 Pakistan Super League, he was selected as an alternative player in the squad of Karachi Kings in 2021 June; however, he did not participate in any match of the team during that season.

Peshawar Zalmi picked him up in the extra category of the player draught for the 2022 Pakistan Super League in December of 2021 and signed him to a contract.

In the last Pakistan Super League that was held in March 2023, Mohammad Haris was a key player of Peshawar Zalmi and he played some crucial inning.

Mohammad Haris was picked by Karachi Kings in 2021 but could not play any match because team management did not give him any chance.

He properly started his PSL career when Peshawar Zalmi picked him in the 2022 edition. Since then he is playing as an opener of the Peshawar Zalmi. He is part of Peshawar Zalmi since 2022.

At this time, Mohammad Haris is representing Pakistan in tournaments throughout the world, particularly in Twenty20 matches. Mohammad Haris is noted for being a powerful striker of the ball as well as also regarded to be one of the game’s top openers.

Since Mohammad Haris started his playing career at Peshawar Zalmi in PSL, he has appeared in 17 matches and scored 516 runs in the 16 innings he has played. His average score is 32.25 so far in 16 innings in PSL.

Mohammad Haris represented Peshawar Zalmi in the last edition of PSL in March 2023. He performed so well as an opener. As Peshawar Zalmi’s key player, he made 350 runs in 11 innings which is the second highest in Peshawar Zalmi’s squad after Babar Azam. He was in the top 10 highest runs getter in this tournament.
