Sarfaraz Ahmed is a prior Pakistani pro cricketer who played wicketkeeper-batsman as part of the Pakistani national team of cricket. He was raised on May 22, 1987, in Karachi, Pakistan, from a family that owned a printing press business.
Sarfaraz Ahmed became a member of the Pakistani national cricket team. Previously, he served as the skipper of the Pakistan team across all matches and forms. Within the Pakistan Super League, he is the captain of the Quetta Gladiators.
He led Pakistan to victory in the ICC Champions Trophy of 2017, which they won by overcoming their fiercest rivals, India, in the championship match. It just so happens that he was also the captain of the Pakistan squad that won the Cricket World Cup of Under-19 in 2006 when they also defeated India in the championship match.
As a result of the ICC World Twenty20 that took place in India in 2016, Sarfaraz was selected to serve as the captain of Pakistan’s Twenty20 International team. He was given the role of One-Day International Captain on February 9, 2017, following Azhar Ali’s resignation.
Sarfaraz had been selected by Pakistan as a replacement for Kamran Akmal, who suffered a finger injury during the one-day series that was played versus India in November of 2007.
In the 3rd test match versus Australia, which took place in Hobart on January 14, 2010, he played his debut during a test match. He took over for Kamran Akmal, who had an “error-ridden game” in the 2nd test.

Sarfaraz Ahmed PSL Career
In the players’ draft for the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which took place on December 21, 2015, Quetta Gladiators selected Sarfaraz. It has been decided that he will serve as the captain of the franchise for the season 2016.
Only two of the Gladiators’ matches were lost before they reached the championship match, and he guided them all the way there. Nevertheless, his squad was unable to emerge victorious, and they were defeated by Islamabad United in the championship match.
Once again, he captained Quetta to the championship game in the following season of 2017, but this time, Quetta was defeated by Peshawar by a score of 58 runs. This resulted in Quetta’s defeat in the final of the Pakistan Super League for the second consecutive year.
When the Quetta Gladiators competed in the 3rd season (2018), they were unsuccessful in their attempt to be eligible for the final and were subsequently beaten by Peshawar Zalmi by a score of one run in the initial eliminator.
In the 4th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), he once again served as the skipper of the Quetta Gladiators, and he led the side to victory in the competition for the first time ever, beating Peshawar Zalmi during the championship match.

He led the side two times to the final but unfortunately, his side lost in the finals. But in the fourth season of Pakistan Super League, his side won the tournament under his captaincy.
