Shahnawaz Dahani PSL Career

Shahnawaz Dahani is an emerging Pakistan fast bowler who was born in Larkana, Sindh on 5 August 1998. The 23 years old fast bowler played his first T20 match for Pakistan against Bangladesh on 22 November 2021.

He was selected for the Pakistani international cricket team after performing in PSL 6. Shahnawaz made his first-class debut on 25 November 2019 when he played his first-class game for Sindh in the Quaid-e-Azam trophy 2019.

In March of 2021, Pakistan announced that Dahani would be a part of their Test team for the upcoming series versus Zimbabwe. In June of 2021, he was selected to be a part of the Test team for the matchup versus the West Indies. He was selected for Pakistan’s One Day International team in September 2021, when they faced New Zealand in an international series.

In the later part of the identical month, he was selected to be one of Pakistan’s 3 traveling reserve players for the ICC T20 World Cup team in 2021. In November of 2021, he was selected for the Twenty20 International team of Pakistan to play Bangladesh in an international series.

On November 22nd, 2021, he played his first Twenty20 International for Pakistan versus the Bangladesh national cricket side.

The fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani started his PSL career with Multan Sultans. On 23rd February 2021, he played his first PSL match against Peshawar Zalmi.

Although Multan ended up on the losing side Dahani got the attention of the experts with his brilliant fast bowling. Shahnawaz Dahani PSL career would be brilliant if he keep working hard.

The last season of the PSL that was played in 2023 was the third season of Dahani. In his first match in 2021, he got two crucial wickets while bowling in the death overs.

Dahani has played 23 matches in the PSL and his bowling performance has remained top-notch so far. He bowled 80.2 overs in his 23 matches and took 38 wickets. His bowling average in PSL is 18.84 and his economy rate is 8.91.

Dahan’s bowling economy rate is a little higher as he is known as a wicket-taker bowler. Shahnawaz’s bowling strike rate is 12.68 and two times he took four wickets to haul in the PSL.

In a match against Lahore Qanaldar, Shahnawaz Dahani was named as the man of the match due to his brilliant bowling performance in 2021.

He took four wickets only for five runs. His stats are showing that he would be the next big name in the list of top Pakistan’s fast bowlers.

Shahnawaz Dahani is playing in PSL 2023 for Multan Sultans. In the last season of PSL 8 Shahnawaz Dhani played only one match in which he bowled four overs and gave 40 runs and took 1 wicket.
