If you talk about the hard-hitting batsmen around the world, Sharjeel Khan will be the first one that comes to your mind. The aggressive left-handed batsman was born on 14 August 1989 in Hyderabad and is known for his hard-hitting batting style in international cricket and in his PSL career as well.

Sharjeel Khan made his debut for Pakistan cricket on 18 December 2013 v Sri Lanka. So far, Sharjeel Khan has represented Pakistan in 25 ODIs and 21 T20s. He has also played 1 test match for Pakistan.

The left-handed batsman was on his peak form when he got suspended by PCB due to violating the anti-corruption code of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Sharjeel Khan PSL career was started when he was picked up by Islamabad United in the first season of the PSL. His first season was phenomenal as he smashed a brilliant hundred in the 3rd qualifying final that was played between IU and PZ.

He scored 117 runs on just 62 balls, with a strike rate of 188.71. Khan was named player of the match due to his brilliant hundred.

Sharjeel khan started his PSL career with Islamabad United. Due to the ban by PCB, he missed out on two entire seasons of PSL. In PSL 2020, he was picked up by Karachi Kings.

He makes a strong comeback and played the tournament with an aggressive style. Khan was named player of the match (Karachi Kings vs. Lahore Qalandars) due to his quick 74 runs on 59 balls. He hits 5 sixes and 5 boundaries and remained not out with a strike rate of 125.42.

Sharjeel Khan holds a record of highest runs partnership for the 1st wicket. While opening the innings for Karachi Kings with Babar Azam against Islamabad United in PSL 6, they scored 176 runs for the 1st wicket.

This partnership is not only the highest 1st wicket partnership in PSL, but it is also the highest partnership in PSL by runs for any wicket. But unfortunately, Karachi Kings lost that match despite a brilliant start provided by Sharjeel Khan and Babar Azam.

There are a total of 6 partnerships with 150 or more runs in the Pakistan Super League. Out of these 6, Sharjeel was part of 3 partnerships. 2 were for Karachi Kings, while 1 partnership of 153 runs was made from Islamabad United in PSL 2016.
