Wahab Riaz is a Pakistani pacer who was born on 28 June 1985 in Lahore. His height is 6ft 2in, and he is a left-arm fast bowler. Wahab’s average pace is 90 mph, and the fastest delivery he ever bowled is 96 miles per hour.
He has represented Pakistan in 27 Test matches, 91 ODIs, and 36 T20s. Wahab Riaz played his first ODI for Pakistan on 2 February 2008 against Zimbabwe. On 20 April 2008 against Bangladesh, he played his first t20.
Wahab’s significant performance was against India at the 2011 Cricket World Cup, where he took five wickets. He came into the team to replace Shoaib Akhtar, and after some good performances, he became a permanent player of Pakistan’s team.
Wahab Riaz, a left-handed fast bowler for Pakistan who had been sidelined due to injury, has been appointed as the temporary Sports Minister for the province of Punjab in January 2023.

Wahab Riaz’s PSL career is exceptional so far. He is the first bowler to take 100 wickets in PSL history. He joined the Yellow Strom in PSL 2016.

Wahab Riaz was part of Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 8 in 2023. He played under the captaincy of Babar Azam. He took 10 wickets in 11 matches and gave 370 runs. His best bowling figure in this season was 3 wickets for 17 runs.
