Pakistan 1st Inning – 217 (70.3 ov)

Pakistan made 217 runs in their first innings and they were all out on day 1 in 70.3 overs. Fawad Alam was the top scorer as he made 56 runs. Faheem Ashraf made 44 runs on 66 balls whereas captain Babar Azam made 30 runs.

Other than these 3 batsmen, Mohammad Rizwan was the only batsman who crossed 20 runs and he made a total of 23 runs. All of the other batsmen couldn’t perform well.

West Indies made 253 runs and get a lead of 36 runs over Pakistan in the first innings. They were all out in 89.4 overs. Their start was not good and they lost 2 early wickets for just 1 run in the 3rd over.

Captain Kraigg Brathwaite made 97 runs on 221 balls and he missed his century just by 3 runs. Hassan Ali got him short of the crease on a direct hit. Jason Holder made 58 runs on 108 balls while Jermaine Blackwood made 22 runs on 54 balls.

In the second innings, Fawad Alam gets out without a score whereas he was the top scorer of the 1st inning. Pakistan team got out on 203 in 83.4 overs and get a lead of 167 runs.

Captain Babar Azam is the top scorer for the second innings as he made 55 runs on 160 balls. Opener Abid Ali made 34 runs Mohammad Rizwan made 30 runs.

Jayden Seales took 5 wickets in the second innings, while Kemar Roach sent 3 batsmen to the Pavillion. West Indies need 168 runs to win the 1st test against Pakistan.
